Services and Events
The Berkshire Minyan holds services weekly on Shabbat morning and on the High Holidays (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur) as well as on the haggim (Sukkot, Pesach and Shavuot). A Yizkor Memorial service is included on appropriate holidays. We gather for other observances during the year (Chanukah, Purim and Tisha B'Av), for community study and periodically for Kabbalat Shabbat services.
Our services are lay-led, liturgically traditional and conducted largely in Hebrew. We use Siddur Lev Shalem for Shabbat and Festivals as our prayer book and Mahzor Lev Shalem for the High Holidays. Services include P'sukei De-zimra, Shaharit, Torah reading (triennial), Haftarah, a drash (with discussion) and Musaf.
Shabbat services
Weekly Shabbat services begin at 9:45AM on Saturday mornings.
